My name is Silvia and I was born in Linz (capital of Upper Austria). After I finished school, I lived in the United States for two years and later went on to study English and Russian at the Institute for Translation and Interpreting at the University of Vienna. There I graduated as an "Akademisch geprüfte Übersetzerin" (3-year translator degree) in the field of interpreting. For many years now I have been working as an interpreter for English and as a tourist guide in German, English, Portuguese and Russian. Many of my guests can personally feel that I enjoy my work a lot, and it would be a pleasure for me to be able to show you our capital city as well.

It is a real concern of mine to be able to bring the history and culture of my country to your knowledge in an informative, charming and, at the same time, amusing manner. I am convinced that you won't be bored during my guided tours.
